The Castlehill Library

My name is Dena Orr, I have been at Castlehill over 12 years, and I am passionate about reading books and selecting great literature for the students here! I learned to love books at an early age and read many throughout my childhood.

I attended Colorado University, then transferred to Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma where I received a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in Oklahoma, Guam, and have tutored struggling students while moving around the country following the Air Force. I have  also spent many volunteer hours in the schools that my children attended. I worked in TUSD for 9 years, mainly as a reading specialist, using a literature based curriculum.
